I know some of us just cant stand the factory Mark Viii wheels... I picked up a set of 2nd Gen Supercoupe wheels from a buddy of mine... I wont be able to put them on til I get my car done, but I'd like to see some pics of other Mark's with those wheels, I know they're out there!

They'll hold me off until I can hub swap and get FR500's... my snowflakes are trashed and these will look considerably better after a repaint.

Didn't chicken have them on for a short time awhile back? Anyhow i'm not a huge fan of them. The only mark wheel i could live with would be the octastars.

And see everybody loves the Octostars... but im not a fan.. they look to "cadillacy" if you will... Coming from Mustangs, I'm a fan of a 5 spoke kind of wheel, something easy to clean, but looks good.

I'm with stangman all the factory wheels suck. Some of my faves are adr kasai, saleens and 04 cobra to name a few. Just my $.02

I'd love to have a set of 18" BBS RK's for this car... but thats not a reality, lol

Same here. Not a big fan of the Octastars. To me, they look...for lack of a better word..."cheap". I like the ten-spoke LSC wheels and I also kinda like the lacy spokes, or "snowflakes". I never could figure out why people call them snowflakes. Ford called them "lacy spoke" and they look nothing like snowflakes. Now the factory wheels on my '87 and '88 T-Bird Turbo Coupes really did look like snowflakes...

The Octs grew on me and I like the versions with the satin between the holes. For stock wheels the 10 spokes look best to me. When we pulled the snowflakes off Sapperfires and slapped the 10 spokes on it the whole cars look changed. Its amazing what the right wheels can do.

I get compliments on my cars "look" all the time and the only change visually is the wheels.

i've got some cougar xr7 wheels on my car. 7 spokes. i like them way way better than the snowflakes. maybe not as much as 10 spokes, but no money for those right now. i'm content. looks good to me.
phone pic of a dirty car. my apologies.

That's interesting. I've never seen Cougar wheels on a Mark before. Interestingly, my mom's '97 30th Anniversary XR-7 has the same lacy spoke wheels that I have on my '96 Mark, from the factory. The only difference is that the center caps are smooth and the insides of the spokes are painted black. But I have to say, Mark VIII wheels look better on Cougars than vise versa. But if they work for you, all's well:)

I like the cobra or bullit wheels on my Mark. They just look right and they are not cadillacie. My car is silver mist and the wheels really compliment it.And I dont like 22s.What the hell is it with the younger generation.Must be those genII guys, yea, thats it.

If u like I can have my buddy swap his Gen 2 supercoupe wheels on mine and I can take pics I won't be able to post till tomorrow...

I've got the 2nd gen SC wheels... just cant put em on right now :(

Every time I go to a town west of me I see a black SC with those wheels and I really like them, have been wondering if they look good, and now I know they do so once I get things going I'll be in the market for some. Guess I'll look through the pull a part places, and see if my brother will look for me too.

hell i ran them for the first 3-4 years i had the car, now they are my winter wheels

im on the fence with the octis, some cars they look good, some dont, i didnt like them on mine, and thats why they are in the shed
I'd like to see the newer SC wheels, I think they look good much better then the snowflakes.
digs through pre saleen wheel pics
Here's mine in my sig below. Only thing is they're not directional so they go the other direction on the other side.
thats why i went with the second gen super coupe wheels they are directional, and if you get the tbird sport/taurus center cap then no dumb bird on my mark
