new member 1994 mark 8

hello, i just joined this forum after getting my xmas present , a 1994 mark 8, i love the car, it runs awsome but has a few issues as would be expected, so after looking at the beautiful 8's ive seen on this forum im asking for advice.

1. front struts drop while driving but rears stay up. fronts also air down when parked , but rise when car is started. what do i need to check? replace front air struts? after this is taken care of im planning on doing the sensor drop. or should i just do the coil over spring conversion?

2. the rear window weather seal is like bacon it has so many waves in it. where can i get a replacement for that?

3. i also need new or at least clear fron headlight buckets for the front and a complete rear tail light assy.

any help would be greatly appreciated, i dont need this car to drive i want to drive this car, im very impressed with the potential it has but i need to feel safe before moving to the upgrade portions ..

Welcome to LVC. You are experiencing all of the typical wear and tar of any typical Mark of that age. If you want to come to Houston, I can covert you to springs and you wont have that problem again, The rear window, just live with it no fix without replacing the whole window.

i apreciate the offer, i am mechanically inclined, more to the performance upgrade side, this car is supposed to be a therapeutic means to keep my stress level down ( LOL) BUT if i cant find time i will make a run to houston....

Which side tail light do you need? Welcome to LVC btw.

Replacing the front suspension is fairly simple. I'm happy to see we are getting more Texas members now.

i need the center(trunk) tail light
youre 95 is same color as mine, but ,mine has a tan interior...

i noticed there are a few here in texas, especially around Htown

Marks are plentiful in the junkyards in Texas. You should check.

If the air compressor still works get new front struts, don't get them from Arrnot, if you want to convert to coils I have a full set of normal height springs(that can be cut) and the shocks/struts for sale.
I've also got a center light cluster bar for sale.
This stuff must be sold cheap to repay LVC members, i'm in Waco and travel to Houston to visit family...let me know bro...
