I think I am going to put in a three gauge cluster because I want a boost gauge and a air/fuel ratio gauge. What would be a good choice for a third gauge for a supercharged Mark ?

Speaking of trans temp. I have a B&M super cooler and I by passed the factory cooler. I saw on here once were someone installed a thermostat for the transmission cooler. Anybody know were you get something like that ? And how is it installed ?

Intake air temp after the blower. That being said I am with froggy on this. I read everything in one gauge with my PLX setup. I can have it read 4 paramaters at the same time so mine always shows boost, A/F, fuel pressure and IATs.

They are not much money and are easy to use.

Pretty soon, you'll end up with 12 gauges.

Dashdaq.com is all you need to look at. Spend the extra 99 dollars for the FORD enhanced PID list and be happy.

Mine is a 93 so it isn't OBD 2 so I do not think it's compatible ? Thanks Don

This would be great. But from what I saw I do not think it would work with my 93 (not OBD 2). Did you mount it in the car ? Got a picture ? Thanks Don

I am mobil so can't post right now but there are pics in my progress thread. They do have an OBDII interface but mine is the other version. You just buy moduls for what u wanna read.

Any clue about what page to look at on your progress thread ? I went through the last 10 pages but I didn't see it. I did see why you do not like the Magnaflow x-pipe resonator. Hope mine last longer.

Sorry, forgot how big that thread was.

So let me give you the skinney. They make two gauges, the DM-100 and DM 200. I wish I would have gotten the 200 cause its larger and since I have ine set to read 4 paramaters it would be easier to see. They then have the OBD 100 and OBD 200 which is the same gauge but reads off of the OBDII port and anything the computer sees the gauge will display. Again, wish I would have gone that route so that I didnt need to buy a module to read IAT or timing and other stuffs.

So I have the DM-100 ($190) with the wideband AF module ($170) and the boost module ($80). I can add 30 more inputs if I wish and will soon add the IAT module and the fuel pressure module. I like the gauge cause its accurate and fast plus it looks cool but I do have a big gripe. If you have it display like a normal gauge then it cant display boost and vac at the same time. :( Not a big deal for me cause I have it in numeric mode and have one line for boost, one for vac and one for A/F.

You can also download custom backgrounds and gauge faces for it which is pretty cool. They have modules for anything so you can read as much info as you want. One other minor downside is each module is the size of a pack of smokes and you have to find places to hide them. Mine are beside the steering colum.

Bill, maybe Don will buy what you have from you and then you could go after the 200? Not sure what all is involved with uninstalling but since you would rather have the 200 and I'm assuming that Don could only use the 100. Just an idea. Buncha maybe's in there. :)

Thanks Laser (Bill) That is my older brothers name and was my dads name. After seeing the price I think I will stick with coventional gauges. If I was OBD II I think I would go for it. Thank you very much. I'am leaning towards these 1st Vacuum/boost http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0416523741&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT 2nd Air/Fuel ratio http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0458058097&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT and 3rd Air intake temp. http://www.frozenboost.com/product_info.php?products_id=800 and then mount them were the message center is and angle them toward the driver with these. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ATM-2234/ Any thoughts????

I just ordered Prosport gauges from fastwrx.com (cheaper than through Prosport.) Electric oil pressure, boost/vac (mechanical due to my high altitude,) and electric fuel pressure, total around $125ish. Also an LC1 w/gauge, but if you're already tuned and don't plan on more mods or boost I wouldn't bother... With a decent trans cooler I wouldn't bother with a temp gauge.

Too bad you dont have OBDII. They (PLX) has an interface that hooks to a iPhone via wifi.

They also have a square gauge that shows six areas at once that would fit perfectly into the center display opening. I wish I had the drive to take my display apart and replace it with a color LCD screen and then write the grafix for it. That would really bring a modern touch to the car.

Although because of the touch screen in my car and the USB (thanks GMAN) I grafted into the dash people never believe the cars is from the 90's anyway.

OK, many issues I have with your selections. The boost gauge is just pure crap. The IAT gauge matches NOTHING and the narrow A/F gauge is crap and thats just to have pretty lights.

See if you are gonna hack up the center display and replace it with gauges it may as well be for a better visual appeal, not a lessor one. The gauges need to match the cars setup and read properly. No sense having a narrow band A/F meter cause it tells you nothing other then yes, your motor is running. Any good wideband setup will run over $200. As for the other gauges, stick with the name brand ones. Now I have had good luck with Glowshift. They look the best and are fairly cheap and are almost as accurate as an AutoGauge. Downside is their fuel pressure senders for their fuel pressure gauge suck and you CAN NOT (read dont fuggin do it) run a mechanical fuel gauge inside the car.
