Anybody watch Top Gear USA lately? Take a look! You'll laugh your a$$ off!

Yeah I have been watching them. I really like the British show. I have high hopes for the US version.

My cuz got me to start watching it.. Then I found it On Demand.. The US one seems pretty good.. They do more things and there isn't the "bland Brit humor"..

But that Cadillac flying through the air made cry.. It was funny as hell

The US show sucks IMO. These guys are obnoxious and not funny. I find the UK one to be much better in every aspect.

+1.

However, my 'bland Brit humor' makes me biased.

Like I said "high hopes." These guys gotta get used to their roles on the show. I think it will get better, but in the US we would probably never allow some of the crazy stuff they do on the brit show.

I only watched the British version a few times so I shouldn't really say it was bad.. I just thought this episode kicked some a$$.. ;)

Wow.. I'm gettin told.. :p

The US version is probably okay, but the problem is that it is not the "real" UK version. I can't help but compare it to what it is copying. The UK show wouldn't work so well without the unique hosts that they have. The UK version is not advertiser supported, so they can be a little more honest about each car.

It's not terrible, but its also not great either. If anyone has watched TGUK since its inception you will know the success they have today wasn't immediate. James May wasn't even an original host. Half of what makes TGUK great is the matured relationships and roles they all play within the confines of the show.

IMO they need to let let Rutledge Wood go, he seems to be very out of place. Then bring in someone who is a real journalist and writer like Clarkson who can captivate audiences with his reviews. I don't think I can handle much more of Tanner Foust's voice and bland dry style. Adam Ferrara isn't bad, he at least seems the most unscripted of the three.

Agreed.. Tanner has some good driving skills compared to the others and that's probably why he's still there. I also agree, Adam is probably the best of the three..

I thought for sure he broke his neck when he came off that jump.. No neck guard and a dirt-bike helmet..

I can see were your coming at there.. When/where is the UK one on? I'll watch it before I open my mouth next time.. :)

BBC America. I don't recall the day and time. I just let my DVR pick up the new episodes. Netflix has a few seasons of the show.

i didnt really find the humor in this clip

i have to agree with the guys who like TGUK better, its a kick a$$ show, sucks i can't afford it in school :(, when i go home on some weekends its TGUK marathon time!

Thank you.. I thought I was going to get a mob after me.. :p

lol nothing against you, just voicing my opinion...have you caught an episode yet? you can watch clips at hulu

and about the humor idk maybe if there had been more shots of inside the car, and the guy driving saying something maybe? i know i find plenty of TGUK funny, for instance the episode in where they raced buses on a track was hilarious bc of what Hammond was saying and his expressions while his bus was getting smashed. or maybe its just their British accent lol

So did the UK version for years. They stopped being so serious and added some humor. I do love the UK version. I am giving the US version a chance to find themselves. A lot of people don't even know that is a UK version.

BTW Anyone see the UK episode where the "Stig" is identified? Its Micheal Schumacher the F1 champ.

i saw a clip, but it is my understanding that the "Stig" has changed at least once since the show started and i think Michael Schumacher was the Stig for just that episode, or so the rumor goes lol
