Is this the Holy Grail?

Shown as a new product on Canton's web site.

Summit shows that it fits Mark VIII's and Thunderbirds. $200.95

I wonder if it really will?

Who's going to be the first to find out?

I have a Canton 15-784 pan installed on my '98 Cobra. I think I'll take a few measurements.....

Are you really excited about this? lol

But It would be really cool if we finally got a solution to this problem.

how many inches from the very botton is the oil pickup?? I have the typical pan rust but its ok in the very bottom, sides and back of the pan.

Oh if it fits I will definatly be doing this when I do my forged motor!

The only thing I worry about is that if you click "Show all applications" on the Summit page, it shows practically every car or truck that has a 4.6 or 5.4. In other words, the bolt holes will line up. Will it actually fit in the car? Who knows.

Doubt it will fit but who knows for sure until you try it. I already put 7 quarts in every time.

I know way back a mark viii guy install a aftermarket pan on his mark but I don't remember much of the details.
