Anybody ever replace one of these, and know where it is? I'm looking for it but can't find it.

I think that's why I smell gasoline when I get in the car.

Yeah I just went through the hell of getting cans to fix the fuel smell issue.

The cans are under the spare tire well under the car. 4 8mm bolts hold the tray in. Disconnect the wire harness before dropping the tray. You just pull out the input and output hoses and then you can pull the tray to get the cans out.

The issue happens when the tank is filled to max and then you hit a big dip or angle the car to the passenger side. The little diaphragm on top of the tank fills up with a few oz of gas and then dumps it into the cans.

After I replaced mine (thanks GMAN) I still had a faint smell when stuck in traffic. I removed the vent hose from where it goes up into the frame rail and moved it so it vents out the rear of the car. No more smell. :)

Car is a 93.

Canister is at passenger side front, right near where the air compressor is/was.

Ah, for some reason I thought he had a second gen.

Thanks all for this I have the same problem.
Oh yeah, the blower enhances this problem depending on where you get the vac from for the can. If its after the bypass valve then there is positive pressure when you let off the gas from a heavy load. That can cause the valve to suck some fuel into it and blow it into the can.
I got a check valve from a rainbow carpet cleaner as it was the only vac check valve I could find in 3/8"
