does anybody know if its possible to take a picture with a droid and then post it on this site? AND IF SO HOW .

Should be able to hook your usb cable that came with your phone and hook it to the computer(if your phone came with one-most do or you can get one) and upload it like that or save the pic to your memory card in the phone then pull it out put it inside the SS/MCC port on a laptop and upload it that way.

strange that a member with the name phil asked a question and a member with the name phil answered......

Queue the twilight zone music...

Here is more detailed help

•Step 1
Turn on your Motorola Droid by pressing the Power/Unlock button located on the right top side of the device.

•Step 2
Insert the corresponding end of the USB Data cable into the data port on your Motorola Droid.

•Step 3
Plug the USB end into an available port on your Laptop or PC.

•Step 4
Press the "Menu" button on the bottom physical keypad. It is located between the "Back" button and the "Home" button.

•Step 5
Press "Notifications" on the on-screen menu that appears.

•Step 6
Select "USB connected" on the on-screen menu.

•Step 7
Click "Mount" on the on-screen menu.

•Step 8
Open the "My Computer" area of your PC or Laptop and select the drive that now corresponds to your Motorola Droid's device. Hint: it's more then likely not the C: drive.

•Step 9
If you have pictures stored on your Motorola Droid, they are likely stored in the "dcim" folder under "Camera."

•Step 10
You can now select the photos you want to transfer from your Droid to your computer by cutting/copying and pasting them where you want them. You also can put load photos onto your Motorola Droid by placing pictures into the "Camera" folder that you are now in

You don't have to upload anything to your computer, you can send the picture direct with a text or e-mail to the Photobucket mobile upload site and host it there.

Email pic to some one to post or email to yourself to upload from a pc

I bought one of these over 6 months ago and anytime I need to send a pic from my phone to the laptop, it works perfect. Just pair the two together (only a one time pairing needed) and when ever you're ready to send a pic, stick it in and the BT icon will be in the bottom right. Click that and then click receive a file. Go to the phone and send it to the D Link USB BT and it's done. No wires and it's fast. You can send from the PC to the phone also. Music, pics or w/e you want.

You don't have to wait. Anyone with a contract renewal in 2010 can get it on the release date early. My next upgrade is Sept. 10th and I am thinking about getting the X and giving my wife my Droid. Then again, a 2 Ghz Droid is coming out by the end of the year.

What does 2 GHZ mean, I am not that knowledgable when it comes to that. I thought the HDMI port was cool on the X.
