I am going to buy a set of 35w 6000k HIDs, but I am not sure who is reputable enough to purchase from. I was going to go with DDM tuning until I saw that shipping was 30 bux. 2 HID kits from them with shipping was 80 dollars. If that sounds right, I guess I'll buy from them, just wanted to see if anyone had a good company they buy from.
Thanks.

$30.00 to ship a set of aftermarked HID's seems a bit high. i bet it could be shipped priority or UPS Ground for half that.

DDM shipped mine to New Mexico for $12.52 for ground shipping. There were more expensive shipping options listed, make sure you're looking at the price for ground.. You're in the US lower 48, right?

I payed 50.00 shipped for my kit from VVME.com. I ordered them at 10pm on a Monday and had them in my hands by 9pm Tuseday night shipped from Hong Kong via DHL. And i didnt pay for over night shipping it was 3-5 day.

I decided to go with VVME and payed 45.00 shipped to my home. I bought the 55w 4300k HID's. If they're too bright I will tint the lenses.

I just installed 55W 5000k 9006's from DDM tuning with the slim ballasts in my 97. They work great and look awesome. No check headlamps message.

You should be very happy with them.

Are these for your low beam? If so are they too bright for city driving? Will one get a ticket for using 55W instead of 35W?

make sure you're headlight housings still have chrome on them! Because mine sure don't! They last about 30k miles, guess the P/O should have bought the Xenons in 1995

Ya, HIDs look awesome until you hit the high beams and they look orange next to HIDs, so I'm gonna do both.

I understand what you're saying there, but how often do you or others see your high beams on with your lows? I don't know about you, but I only use my highs when I'm in a super dark area, or to flash my highs at someone. If there's someone approaching me, I turn the highs off so I don't blind them/make them crash. And if I'm flashing my highs at someone, it's usually because I'm either pissed off at them or they need to turn their lights on. Either way, I don't care what they think about how my headlights look.

Just wondering why you care?

I don't know about your area, but around here it seems like the police don't care what you've got lighting your way. With that said, I do care. They are really bright, but when properly aimed they are no brighter to oncoming cars than some of the recent newer cars (with factory HID's) I've seen driving around.

I don't drive around all day with my high beams on. Its just a preference I guess, I like them to all look the same. Also it will be an increase in performance over the stock highbeams which in my opinion suck almost as much as the lows.

how much are these lights going for i had to buy driver side head light fender door bumper then i get it all back to gether and passenger low dont work
