this is what i got outta your post sorry i passed out last night
Suspension was swapped to strutmasters by the previous owner.
When I switch lanes the whole car does this float thing to the side I'm turning.
to much body roll (i have read) can be fixed with the addition of a better rear sway bar
When I'm driving strait and let go of the steering wheel the car will be driving straight and then just feel like it's about to buckle to one side, then it will do it to the other side. that just confused me
Have you ever had a really low tire and if you quickly jerked your steering wheel from side to side you can feel the car would "float" all over the place? It feels like that but it's not my tires. They are brand new and the pressure is spot on.
that sounds like the shocks and strutts might be bad

do you know how long the s/m kit has been on there? walk up to the corner of your car, push down as hard as you can on one corner of the car, count how manny times the car bounces, if your shocks are good it should bounce 2x max one time is prefered.
What's f'd up is the car is doing so many damn things it's hard to pinpoint one.
you should def. pull the wheels and just do a visual inspection of all the little rubber pcs all the way arround. when you jack the car up try to shake or pull the tire/wheel if it moves locate the play (end of movement) whatever is there should be replaced. also spin the wheel and if you hear any real noise replace the wheel bearings.
Tires cured a lot, but left other issues
running bad tires can cause serious suspension damage. if they are shaking the car that means they are beating the sh** out of your suspension ie ball joints bushings tie rods
but you are going to someone who can help. if he will drive to TN i would pay $10 per ride to feel what a well set up markviii feels like but i doubt he is gonna drive up here for $10 by the way (not that it really matters) hows the fuel milage with the 3.73s
