The car is getting gears and the LSD installed.
 
This car is just so damn bad! Has 197K on it and is just gutless. I went to pass a car on the way to work that was doing 45 in a 70. So I nailed the gas, took a nap, got into the passing lane and then fapped, lit a ciggarette, smoked it to the filter, went back into my lane when I realized I didnt have enough room to pass.

Those shape Buicks are EVERYWHERE in my part of NC. Even the USPS use Buicks similar to that to deliver the mail!

Mind, I'd own one as a DD IF it was dirt cheap and reliable.
 
I just went to get lunch and realized the car has no cup holders. It has FOUR ashtrays but no cup holders. :confused:
 
no cupholders? It should have a little flip out dealie in the center console, unless its broken or missing.
 
Well my Mark still has no LSD so I must have taken it. :p
 
If you have renters insurance on that thing, let me have it when you get done so I can blow it up too. :shifty:

I think the guys at the shop took your LSD and all sat around laughing and said "lets charge him an extra $700 to $800 and see if he pays"
 
So, I was curious about those old Buicks... Figured I'd take a look locally, thinking to myself: ''a horrible car like that must surely go for peanuts'' Boy, was I wrong! :lol: My Mark was cheaper!
 
Daily Driver. Basically, I'm interested in a cheap, reliable old 'beater' to do errands in... something that I won't obsess over at Walmart - Lol. Figured after seeing so many of those old Buicks around here, I might be able to pick one up for cheap. (< $800) In actuality, I didn't find a single one for under $1,500 that I'd even call drivable! :lol:
