The license plate it held on by rivets that are made of METAL. I had to punch them out. Where do you find these things? Also the front bumper grill is held on by the same things. You guys know where I can pick these up?

Are you asking where you can find the rivets? Just get some plastic panel retainers at your local parts store. If you insist on metal, a pop rivet gun that comes with rivets is like $5 at harbor freight.

Don't put that ugly ass plate holder back on... ick...

BTW I have pulled a bunch of grilles and never drilled a single rivet...

I want this one off too. I don't live in a state that requires two plates and IMO, it makes the front of the car look bad. I have to drive it over 600 miles home tomorrow. If I make it safe without crashing it, then I'll worry about it. It's kinda blurry and hard to really see.

Ya when i first ripped mine off, then i found out i needed to have front plates in wisconsin.... 12 times pulled over later, still don't have that ugly sinical looking thing on

yea.. put the plate on the car.

here in houston, you need one.

The cops will pull you over, and start looking in your glove box, under your seat and in your trunk...looking for a reason your front plate isn't on the car.

If you can tolerate daily interviews with local law enforcement, and have no reason to not let them comb your vehicle with a fine toothed comb and DOG...then feel free to cruise around with no front plate in houston.

Myself, I dont have time to sit and talk with these mental midgets they call cops around here.. so I HAVE a front plate on my car.

With an Iowa rear plate, (a state that also puts the registration sticker on the plate instead of windshield) They notice my whole front is clean, and don't even look at my rear plate. Not very often anyways, and never pulled over for it in Texas. I have been pulled over, never for my plate.

I had a cop west of galveston follow me for about 20 miles then try to write me some bull:q:q:q:q ticket for car being too low, said if I got a flat tire my car would hit the ground and cause damage to the road. I told him it's not possibe via my air suspension, he didn't say another word, just closed the book and walked back to his car, which shows he was actually dumb enough to think he could be right, I just thought he wanted to sniff the car out, but didn't even do that.

1 drug search just south of Dallas, on my way into Dallas to see the girly (heading north on New years eve with Iowa plates--suspicious looking) after pulled over for following too close- typical stereotyping of the car. I wasn't too close to anybody. That took over an hour with nothing more in my car than my soda, my jacket, and the spare tire in my trunk. Straight up yelled at me for turning around to watch after he originally told me to face away -- a HALF HOUR of his searching through all my nothingness- then repeatedly asked me after his search how many times I've smoked marijuana, and actually pushed his chest against mine the last time he asked because I kept saying ''never''. I started smirking after awhile because he was so upset that he didn't find anything. Not because I'm a punk, but the guy was SO mad, it was just funny, I actually started worrying he may try to plant something and impound the car with as messed up as he was acting.

So the Iowa plates to have their downs. But not because I don't have a front plate, just because some of those dicks think that since an Iowa car is in Texas it's free revenue.

Got a speeding ticket for going way too fast.

Other than that, real good luck in Texas. The Iowa plates help me more than they hurt me, I think, especially with 2% tint.

Dude just come to Miami for the weekend & hang out! Hehehe. It's 80 degrees here again!

Hey so what are you going to do with your old Mark? Parting it out? If I had the cash I'd take the rug, door panels & steering wheel from ya!

 my front plate and holder has been ripped out twice...

Once by me parking too close to a snow drift and the air suspension went down in front, then when I hit the deer... I almost want to just leave it off... but Ohio won't like that too well

I have my front plate inside on the right side of my windshield...Here in Texas the Law states to have both but the front ones don't have to be on the bumper, just visible
