quite of few of us mark fools in FLa I guess need to have a meet and great bring spare parts to trade tell repair storys lol all meet at Jamies lol
 
I wish it sucks sitting in the garage when its 15 degrees outside. But i know what you r saying.
 
Yea I was out there smoking and it was 40 burrrrr florida is haveing a cold spell
 
in the 20's tonight here, yeah i know its not below zero, but its florida, 20's??????????????????????????????????? 2 feet from the ocean thats f-ing cold. jeff we had a kickass meet 2 years ago at howard park, big cook out, 11 marks and few t-birds. it was a good time, i'd love to throw a mark VIII meet at my new shop, got tons of parking, already have a grill and a smoker, got a kickass stereo system in the shop, a fridge for beer and food, i say we do it, lets have another mark VIII meet.
 
I feel your pain FL. Going to 6* with 20-30 mph winds on top of the 10+ inches of snow tomorrow. Glad I had a gas line run to the attached garage when I built the house! Need to swap the radiator and service the trans on the 93 this weekend. And life goes on.
 
i cant say that right now op, as mines broke in the in the back yard outside my garage with a soon to be 10 inches of snow on it.
 
Started snowing here around 7 p.m. Finally got to do some winter donuts in my truck. I don`t drive my car in the snow, the floormat gets dirty. lol
 
yea sounds good my can is not even close to show off condition lol I have the pealing paint issue on my hood trunk lid and now a spot starting to grow on the hood. I need paint lol. My looks like ass paint job on my fenders looks better than it did tho.

Yea its freaking cold down her in Fla I dont have that many clothes and Heat pumps dont warm up like furnaces up north, My house was 64 yesturday am and kicked the heat on 2 hours later if finally got up to 70
 
i'm not driving mine this winter and everytime i go out to the garage I want to hop in and take a spin. Then i have to sigh and go about what im doing.

How is this for a warm fuzzy feeling? Glad I got beer and cigs! Gonna be awhile before this one moves again, maybe by the end of April!

LOL my house won't hit 70 deg for months.
7 deg yesterday I was on the cold cement working on my cars.
New garage no heat.

I am blessed, I have one that only sees good weather (Tux), and one that sees crappy weather (LBD), she's a workhorse and he is a spoiled hottie!!! and LBD's clearcoat flakes off so bad it looks like she has dandruff L( I may get her a cheap paint job next summer, she deserves it.

I want jamie to paint mine but had to save up now days I just do my best to keep up with the day to day fixes lol Had the air shock go out in front, sunroof need adjustment and need tranny flushed and filled, but I am up for a meet jamie count me in
 
I like looking out my garrage (car port) right now cause my 98 is sitting in there on its Saleens and the 97 is parked behind it in a way that I cant see the nose so its like Ihae two nice LSCs .... when i really only have 1.5 :lol: :(

my daily, LBD, she's lookin like crap, clear coat is peeling so bad she leaves a pile of white flake...poor baby, needs the oil seal gasket thingie replaced, guy who did it when I bought her screwed it up, pretty sure at least that is all (antifreeze gets oil in it, ran that way for over 2 years now I just make sure to keep up on oil changes)....and she doen't have a sunroof, love one though...and she is a base...but I'll tell ya, she sure is the work horse of the two!!

I think she deserves a paint job and maybe sun roof this year, like to get that seal fixed too. I'd go on longer trips in the winter, right now I just keep her around town and have to wait till good weather and take Tux, anyone live close (within in few 100 miles) that would like to make some $$ this summer!! No joke!

The 5th annual meet in Boscobel, Wisconsin is in July on the third weekend it is a very cool event. :cool:
 
I've only ever come out to sit down for a smoke and got that feeling with the VIII once that I can remember, and that was the week it came out of the paint booth.
I'm one of those idiots always trying to make a good thing better.
