Hey guys just finished up my headlights.

First impression is... WOW these are bright, I went for a test drive and I could just see everybody staring at my car (granted it is wrecked too, lol).

Passed a newer BMW with their stock angel eyes, he was definitely checken out the LEDs, the BMWs have the standard yellow rings.

Brief Review: The Rings are made very well, the packaging was a little random, it was just a standard cardboard box with the stuff in it, no invoice or instructions or anything, just rings and wire lol. The high-beam ring fits perfect. The low-beam is horribly off, but it still looks good once it is together, when I was holding it up against the bowl to see how it would fit, I almost thought I had the wrong kit. Also because of this mis-match in size, it is pretty annoying to attach the large ring, I had to spot glue it on the top of the bowl fascia, that is the only point of contact the entire ring has. I made sure to put lots and lots of glue lol. Wiring is easy, you just gotta know which to tap into on the stock harnesses.

DemonEyes white wire goes to black/white parking lamp wire.
DemonEyes brown wire goes to black/blue parking lamp wire.

This will let the rings come on with the parking lamps, and not flash with the signals.

The only thing I want different, is someway to hook them up to come on with my puddle lights, Basically when I unlock the doors I want the angel eyes to come on and stay on, instead of flash with the parking lights. Any ideas how to achieve this?

Any suggestions on the puddle lights/unlocking the doors thing?

Thanks for looking!

find the wire for the interior lights that stay on for alittle while and run a relay off of it. how did u break the glew to get them apart did u u heat them up in the oven?

They look great, I'm amazed how bright they are that you can even see the ring when you have your low beams on.

Just was outside for a min, glanced at my car and noticed one of the headlights totally fogged up. further inspection showed, the sealant I used is completely cracked and not holding... What a joke that stuff was, multipurpose garbage.. I bought two tubes of it and barely used half of one, I am taking the other back.

I am going to Lowes to pick up straight up clear silicon and I am redoing both lights right now... How frustrating. I gotta wipe off this junk now.

Any tips on what will hold these closed the best? I do not need to get back into them as the LED rings do not burn out like CCFLs.

PL Premium polyurethane construction adhesive available in paint at Home Depot.
It needs to cure overnight.

From an old thread and I have also read people used rvt sealant from the autoparts stores. For my fogs lights I used this clear liquid nails silicone adhesive

Looks sick dude. Are you going to pt some eye lids on it?

NNIICEE !! ur LS already looks sick dude !! just leave the hood like that !! it'll drive more air around ur airbox ! :p

Okay I got some ultra-construction sealant stuff. It is pretty hardcore stuff, very messy though.

It already is holding a ton better, I am going to let it cure overnight inside the house where its warm.

You didn't like it when the engel eyes would blink with the turn signal? I think that might look kind of cool. It would look like the car is winking at you. That puddle light idea sound cool too

Nah, I would rather them be on with the parking lights.

But yea I wanna figure out a way to get them to come on with the puddles. Maybe some with a wiring diagram can show me where I need to go for that.

The car looks like its got a suit on and ready to go out. Good job man.

It also reminds of BMW in the third picture down.

man i had angles on my mustang and i hated them with a passion. i first i loved them but then they were not that bright and then the ring of lights went out so i got another pair from the company and they sent new ones and they went out faster than the first ones the whole light stopped working on the pass side. they very clean on the black ls but good lucj with them bc i didnt

From a distance they look great, but yeah they look goofy up close. They don't match the diameter of your big headlight circle :'(

Eyelids are definitely FTW, and would look great!

Best day shot I could come up with, if interested I can take more tomorrow. :)

I got them from umnitza. Just put Lincoln ls umnitza in eBay.

I kinda never really liked the eyelids. I like the ls headlights the way they are for some reason.

I don't think you will have problems with these 'burning' out. These are LEDs; not those ccfl tubes.

The low beam fitment is indeed off. But honestly thy sit so far back and they are clear during the day so u can't really tell unless ur inspecting them. I think it looks pretty good for what they are.

Update on the resealing. I did both lights in the new sealant. It is some construction adhesive in a mirror/chrome tube. The crap was ten dollars for the tube! I think it's going to be worth it tho. After only hours the stuff is setting up nicely and not cracking like the stuff before. I am letting them cure overnight in my room.

Anyone on the puddles????

Thx guys

Ebay hasn't had the angel eyes for the gen2 since andrizzle got his.Maybe he got the last ones. If you know the ring size you can pron get them from umnitza and if not Lightwurks sells the kit for gen2 as well, I emailed them and they sell the ccfl for 150 and LED for 180.

I have a gen1 so I didn't have the puddle lights. I hooked mine up to the parking lights so the always went on. They only blinked when I hit the alarm, I miss that sexy beast.

Umnitza just ordered a new batch of the large rings that fit ours best, They are back in stock now:

Umnitza LED Angel Eyes Gen2 Lincoln LS

And yea it is cool that they flash when you lock/unlock, but I think it would be cooler if they just came on solidly right after unlocking, like how the puddles light up and stay on for 30 seconds or whatnot.
