I just swapped my stock johnny too tall 3.07 gears and wish i was a posi diff carrier with a trac loc and 3.73sies. It wasnt too bad once i came up with a tool to remove the carrier with an impact. So if your in need of a transplant and are in the new england area i can do it cheaper than the 3 to 4 hundo shops are getting around here.

well when i spin the driveshaft the wheels look like they are going pretty fast! Lol She was pulled out of a grave for 4 hundo and still being operated on. Drivetrain is done, deleted all harnesses, Engine compartment is shaved, bedlined and painted, Air ride fast bagged. Moving onto COP conversion, custom body kit, paint maybe 2 tone, and interior. Then its time to drive Finally!!

Ya i know and I agree but she was wearing a back bumper and sideskirts when I saved her from the crusher. I really like the back bumper and think it will look good moulded. I hate the side skirts and are gonna attempt to cut them up and make them look a little more low profile. And as for the front I'm gonna do a grand prix lower valence I've seen done on a gen 2.
I've posted pics in an older post when I was workin on her all time. Now that I'm back on the wagon I'll repost them.

These are the pics i posted earlier. New ones to follow soon.

I remember seeing those exact pics a year or two ago.... long time no progress eh?
He said that they were old pics. Progress or not the effort and craftsmanship is readily apparent. It reminds me of the project that Mike (94M5) had a few years ago.

I remember seeing those pics a looonnngg time ago too, and had been wondering how it turned out. I'd love to see some new ones.

Man O man! I get my balls busted by my boys, my dad, my brother, my sister, my dog and now LVCers are gettin a piece. I know I know I did go from all out every night driving across the city to my shop till 1 or 2 in the mornin to drive back and be at work for 8 and then... nothing at all. Its like something else grabbed my attention?? Hmmm??? What was it? Hey what was that stuff we used to always eat back in the day????
Anyways so here are some updated pics. I know they are similar but attention to detail (and some other things) take awhile. But I am back on the hog now and I aint stoppin till im drivin her.

Here is the new air ride setup I crammed into the spare tire well. I am going to need some more air storage but not sure where to put it yet.

This is the engine all hooked up now and running. All harnesses are connected and hidden. The only thing i took off for the pic is the intake tube. The two harnesses that used to be on the shock towers are now tucked neatly under the fender wells. I moved the engine harness where it used to crossover the intake tubes to behind the intake.

This is a close up of the engine harness now zip tied to the fuel rails. I have the camera set on low res but if you zoom in you will see a few led's that light up the intake tubes pokin out.

Here is the rear bumper that i like so much. I have four 3.5" powdercoated tips that fit perfectly in those cut outs and i really like the way it looks with the wing and hood

I post some pics when i get her back on her wheels cause it looks bangin when she is layin unibody.

Ya I haven't got around to detailing her since Moved her into her new home. All those red wires go into 15 conductor speed wire under the console and and run to the trunk. You should of seen relocating the engine bay harnesses, I never wanna see a soldering iron again!!!

Nice!

Kudos for attention to detail and thinking outside of the box!

Mad respect!! I hated doin those harnesses but it looks so much better!! That first pic is classic!!!

that was a reenactment of how i wrapped the harness, draped it over my shoulders and started taping, that was from the scrap wire bin

I love the Thundermark!!!

Assemblyline it is awesome to see that you are still working on your Mark!

Can't wait to see it done...
