Here is my new mark 1 year later and my new daily driver while I Finish my 66 mustang restoration. Then I can work on this poor mark that was neglected but Luckly it landed in my hands so it can go back to its origins. Car runs strong got it for 1000 bucks and the only problem as of now is compressor to the air ride has died. New one should be on the way soon from American air suspension. Yes The top will eventually be removed. No worries I do autobody and after working on my 66 and tearing that down completely, removing this to is no biggie. for now I will drive it as is till my 66 is done in the next few months.

oh boy, i wish you luck, is that something you are gonna take out in public lol! and its good you do body work, because i will tell you right now, you will have a ton of holes in the roof to fix, piles of urethane to remove off the roof, holes in the top of the doors to fix from the screws holding on the top pieces of fake roof, and this is the best part, you will have to replace the rear window because they cut the entire bottom section of the gasket off the window between the glass and the trunk, thats the only way they could get the fiberglass mold to fit. you are deffinetly in for a treat when you remove that top. just pray the roof isnt rotted out like the 97 i have in my shop with a carriage top. good luck!!!!

Should gold tint all the chrome and get some spinnas! :D

LOL, I have to take it in public beats ridding a bike in the winter. Gold snipers are just not my style, I was thinking more along the lines of Gold Daytons, HAHA :D , J/K I actully have plans for it and when my 66 mustang is done I will fully redo this car. For a 98 I figuire 1k wasn't bad, hell i can part it out an make my money back just in the engine and tranny alone.

some lil tlc and it'll be fine.......ummmm dont forget to remove that landeu roof top and you'll be set.

Ick...

It needs struts too... good struts DO NOT leak... period...

yeah I need to replace the compressor and find out were it was leaking from in the first place. The car was obviously neglected. I plan on getting it back in shape and doing a full paint job once I finish my main project for now.

Get the air ride fixed, spend about 2 hours cleaning each wheel, clar bar, and wax it, and I think you will be suprised with the result. Not a bad looking car really, but I just cant see past the top.

That's a great deal. You should do a spring conversion and save the hassle. Pulling the compressor for you, though. :b

+1 on the convertible. :D

Looks like it had crash damage at one point on the drivers side front end. Still, for a grand it was cheap.

Ok, So a buddy of mine killed his MK8 and he will sell me his coil conversion for 200 so I think i'm going for it. His car rode pretty good with them and for 200 I think is a great deal.
