Have to reprogram a remote for the 94 Mark, the wife broke the only one for that car.

I did search google, but wound up finding alot of garbage - no actual instructions.

Already have a spare remote (from the 96 Tbird).

Anybody know the procedure?

I have an extra one with the Lincoln emblem on it if someone needs one. Battery is dead but remote is in near mint condition. Came new with my dads 93 and was never used or if it was, it was very little. I have 3 now and I don't need more than 2 of them. You can program up to 4 but remotes 3 and 4 don't work with seat memory and mirror memory, not that I have that to worry about because I'm the only person I allow to drive my car.

PM me if any of you need one. $20 flat and it will be shipped to you. Too high, I'll keep it lol.

lsc8: If I remember right its pretty simple on ours.
1. Enter your 5 digit code into the door code pannel
2. Within 5 seconds press button 1/2 and the doors will lock/unlock
3.Within 5 seconds press any button on the first remote
4. within 5 seconds press a button on the second remote.
5. within 5 seconds press the 7/8 and the 9/0 buttons at the same time

That should do it

Am I doing somethng wrong? I have 3 Ford remotes. One from my F-150 & two others from 2 Ford Escapes that used to be fleet vehicles at my former job. I've followed the instructions to the T more than 5 times... NOTHING! I thought it was the batteries being that all those remotes have sat around over a year... New batteries installed, followed the instructions again (twice) & got nothing. Any suggestions?

Those were the instructions I used on my 93 and it worked like a champ.

Thats what I figured. I don't understand what the issue is... These are the 3 remotes I have. They are Ford remotes so they MUST work. Something doesn't jive.

Those remotes wont work. Ford changed remotes frequently and while some are able to do others most are not. The ones you have are not the right frequency for a car with remote trunk release. Plus you need the older generation with the square buttons for it to work. Better off just getting nolimits one. I bought a Mercury Sable remote (no memory valet disable) for $15 shipped on ebay. Looks identical to the 97-98 Lincoln remote though.

Yep, wrong remote. Nolimit's remote will work for your car, or surf ebay.
