What year CTS?

Was it the DI 3.6?

I'm guessing it was the 3.6, cause the 2.8 is a dog.

I haven't run my Mark yet, but my 13 year old daughter is constantly telling me that I shouldn't let people beat me off the line at lights. :p

I worry about her.......;)
 
My son is 7 and he wants me to race everyone when we're at a light. Of course I can't do that but at the right light in the right place at the right time, I have but he was only with me once. Nice open wide road with no one on it and it was a 78 Z-28 and yeah, he got stomped. My son got to see that easy win. We only went to around 80, or I did when I showed him that he would never catch me. I did think about it though after doing it with him in the car. Yes, anything could happen but it's your kid(s) and your life and I say do what you wanna do.

Other race was stupidity on my part. Cadillac XLR! WTF was I thinking? He played with me with his first gear I guess and then when he went into 2nd, he shot off with quickness. Now I know not to mess with another one of them. Maybe some of you can with the right Mark but stock doesn't stand a chance. I hope he didn't brag about beating a $1500.00 car with his $80+K car.:rolleyes:

I love suprising cars with my Mark. The car is the ultimate sleeper! Looks like a luxo barge and since it has a Lincoln badge people think its some old dude just puttering along. Nail the skinny peddal and jaws drop! I would so love to supercharge one and piss off the Vette owners.

I havent paired with a CTS yet but I did punish a V-6 Challenger a few days ago. :D I know I can hang with a Hemi Charger, wonder if I can a 5.7 Challenger.

It's one of those things that some people don't see the need to race. Just knowing what your Mark can do is enough to just smile and keep going. No need to school every single idiot who thinks he's got the fastest thing on 4 wheels.

There is a lot more than how fast a car is... hell it ranks low on my list...

If all I cared about was going fast I'd probably have a mustang right now lol....
 
My kids are constantly egging me to race. The other day my wife and i lined the Mark and her forester up just because the kids wanted me to beat mommy.:cool: My 6y/o daughter rode with me and my 3y/o son rode with her. When we got to 60-70 my daughter goes "where's mommy?". LMAO

He bashes everyones cars but seems to really like the new Vette, Caddy and he really likes the Roush Mustang. But yeah, hes the super car guy. Hammond loves American cars and has quite a few. His single favorite car is his GT350.
Did think it was hilarious when they went to Alibama and were almost killed though.

Several things to note with me.
1. I cant type.
2. Its worse for a hour after taking my pain meds.
3. Sometimes I am in a hurry and don't click on the spell checker.
4. The CT on Stangnet is not user changeable and mine says "eye caannot speel wel"

? I guess they are on year 13 now and I haven't seen the earlier year episodes. Gonna have to search for it. Figured he wouldn't like it. Stock they are soft and sway easily and their brakes are gawd awful. Doesn't take much though to make them quite capable.

I find them intertaining and I really am a car guy that loves all kinds of cars. I like seeing some cars that we never see here and see someone tear up a $500,000 car and wring it out instead of just puttering around in it.
