Official LS Picture Thread

Nice color StarPower, totally set on getting one in that color down the road or a complete repaint. Really like that color on the LS.

I've seen "Speed limit enforced by aircraft" signs here in VA, but I've never seen aircraft in use.

That sucks about the tint. I believe the only limit in Missouri is 35% on the front windows; any tint is allowed on the back and back sides. Really dark tint will tend to attract cops even if it is legal. The tinted tail lights will also attract them, and they could probably give you a ticket or use them as an excuse to pull you over.

I have Huper Optik nano-ceramic 35% in the back and 50% on the sides. 35% is dark but you can clearly see through it. 50% with the Medium Light Stone interior looks untinted, but still blocks a lot more heat than the factory solar rejection coating. I'm allowed to have 35% on the back side windows, but I was afraid that the two different shades would look funny. However, the windshield lets in so much light that the front windows sometimes look lighter than the back anyway.

Here are a few shots of what the 35/50 combo looks like in direct sunlight:

The front looks like the stock tint on mine. Does it get lighter at night?

The second pic is when I still had the tint up front. Here it looks like the same. Its VLT 25/10 and legal is VLT 28/15.

Thanks dudes! Trying to get better about taking photos. Also going to do a video.

I tried some with angel eyes, and the lighting was too terrible. The eyes are so damn bright. Needed more background and foreground lights.

This does show off the tinted lenses, too.

dNyce, you gonna get back in the game soon? Still LSless? You know you want another one, admit it!

I don't care what anyone says. This is one of the prettiest cars on the road today. My 2006 Lincoln LS V8 built in February 2006 at the Ford Assembly Plant in Wixom, Michigan 8 years ago. Ford never should have abandoned this project.

Many other examples on this forum look far superior to mine.

I looked around forever to find this one without the moon roof and the options like AdvanceTrac, Rear Parking Assist, and the color combination. I wanted the lower CG afforded by not having the extra weight on top and I wanted more headroom because I drive more upright and high in the seat. Another consideration was overall weight as she only weighs 3700 pounds with a full tank and about 70 pounds of gear in the trunk. It may not seem like much but the lack of the weight of the moon roof makes a big difference to me.
