Mark VIII Frankenstein

I would take it i like shoe box cars
Chris this is no kit. Thoes mn12/fn10 kits are grafted onto the body
this is s 50 body on a mark viii

its pretty cool and kinda like this s10/c10 im building now. i used a s10 frame motor firewall and floor and put a 65 c10 body on it so now the c10 has heat ac cruise and a 4 banger that gets 25+mpg

Yank that sh*tbox 4 cyl out and throw in a 5.3 LS..probably can achieve just as good of gas mileage with way more power..

its been up before.its like the 50 olds body, and chris is right, if im right those are t-bird rims as well. plenty of kit cars out there, but this one eeeeehhhhhhhh, not for me:rolleyes:

It's actually a 1950 Ford body apparently welded to a 1998 Mark VIII unibody undercarriage. It is not one of those kits where you graft a '49/'50 Ford front and rear end onto a 90's T-Bird body. According to the description, this one is a full custom built off an actual '50 Ford body. And those are '06 Pontiac G6 17" wheels according to the description. Personally, I love it. I'd drive the heck out of it. It's just what I'd want. A classic 50's Ford body with modern drivetrain, suspension, interior, and creature comforts. If I could afford it, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

If that's what the owner wanted it would have been done. But you would be surprised that with the 65 sheet metal on it its actually a few hundred pounds lighter than a s10 and that little 2.2 will smoke the 22x12s in the back with no problem, and once I'm done with my part he's having a super charger made for it. Pretty sweet if you ask me.

Chop the top a little and then we'd be talking. throw on some matching wheels. But I like it, just needs more work
