I ordered mufflers and a double X pipe from LMS cars I the shop now but the muffler shop isn't really sure where the XX pipes go? Aren't the two pipes welded together and put in place where the catyltic converter is on my Mark?

No limit where exactly is that so I can tell the muffler shop and show them the pic just in case??

If you've found an exhaust shop that doesn't know where to install an X pipe...find another exhaust shop

And some may have a problem with removing the third Kitty.

That's no lie. I have finally found one but it's because I know a guy and his brother works there. He said he would chop it off and told me to bring a sheet or something big for it to set on, inside my trunk. He said I needed to leave with it and then do w/e I wanted after I have left the premises. That 3rd cat might make some cash on ebay.

Those things sell if they might have any platinum recovery. Something like this one.

If it helps to recover money out of pocket to have an exhaust put on, make that money back. If you don't, someone else will. Then again, maybe a Mark cat isn't one of the good ones that has what they're looking for inside, I don't know.

I just sold a pass bank cat / minus the manifold to a core yard yesterday for $30

I've had an exhaust shop tell me that it was illegal for them to give my cats back if they cut them off..I never did any research on that matter, but even an aftermarket cat is worth $ .so I just cut them off myself

Now I have my own Mig..so I don't have to worry about it anymore ;)

This is srs suggestion...... or prepare to leave that shop with lousy welds and leaks, with one tip sticking out 5 inches farther than the other side.

Looks like a coil conversion is available for sale......

He doesn't have storage room to tear her apart :( which sucks because the cars shell at scrap will bring around $3-400, and I got $250 for a stripped down bad block. When you total a car like these, its usually best to sell it in pieces

I take it's not near your shop then... Sad, tho the body is done, so much is still worth getting.

Poor BoB ;(

That's not the same car as the exhaust pic..the car that's on the lift is a 1st gen (has a 1st gen rear bumper and no evap tray)..by the way is this "1andonlygreatone's" car?? (Or whatever his user name is) looks like the same exact damage done..

left rear tire/springs/no rear cans/rust, can even see the painted spots on both pics pipes, odd combination of similarity

Thats 1grt8 or whatevers' ride. He was traveling well over the speed limit and the rear brake locked up. I am surprised that there is no thread about it. Not that anyone would be able to read it anyways.
