Alexander....looks cool. What would it take to make your entire interior out of wood. You drape yourself in lush mahagony. :)

I'd like to see that pulled off on a Gen 1 console lid. Wonder what it would look like with my interior...

I think I would prefer some sort of black leather insert for more of the two tone look. That is a nice lid though. It's surely different but I know me, I would be constantly be wiping it off from smudging. You should see me with my cell phone. It's buffed off no telling how many times a day.

I think the black walnut will be good for your interior, see my album, page 11-12, and it is harder.

Thank you, I used redwood and burl redwood, good idea, I'll try to mahogany, it is firmer.
