Raced my 98 LSC, won the sportsman class and $300. Best et was 14.1 at 97mph. There was a 15mph headwind and everyone was running slower. My boy usually runs 11.0 on his bike, he was running 11.2-11.3 all night. Anyway, I was cutting lights like you wouldn't believe and was killing people on the tree. On another note, my Toyo drag radials came in today while I was at the track so look for me running 13's next week...

Good job!
(sounds of words being eaten) *crunch crunch*

I watched for a while on Infineons website but couldn't catch a glimpse of the car, and gave up.
I shouldn't checked back later once there wasn't so many cars in the lanes.

Again, good job. you da man!

I met a guy who runs a speed shop in the East Bay, he brought out a Maurader. I saw him run a 14.5 at 95mph so I asked him what mods he had and he popped the hood... looked bone stock to me all the way down to the stock airbox. He turned on the car and it sounded really beefy, he told me they just finished building the motor, it was a 5.0 stroker with forged pistons and rods, 99 Cobra cams, and 03 cobra exhaust manifolds, 4.10 gears and a full SCT dynotune. He says it made over 300rwhp. A mild setup so it can still pass CA smog. I can't believe my car is faster than that Maurader...

I haven't seen too many at the track. A couple weeks ago there was a guy with a super rare Silver Maurader, it was bone stock except for a JLT Intake and he ran a 15.0 which is not bad at all.

The track is just above sea level but it's not a fast track at all. There is always a headwind and it's usually not prepped very well. Now 100 miles north east is Sacramento Raceway, that track is the fastest on the west coast. I always run at least a tenth and one MPH better at Sac but it's too far from my house...

im not trying to jack your thread but i too live in sac and am curious who else does? we have lots of nice mark's in sac although i dont think too many know of this forum

My friend J used to live out in Rio Linda, he had a 95 silver Mark VIII with stall converter, 4.10's, Kooks headers and SCT chip and a huge cowl hood. It was dropped like 2.5 inches with a Mustang hub conversion and Cobra wheels... He ran high 13's at Sac Raceway with heavy subs in the trunk. I also used to race my 95 LSC out there... that's where I ran the 13.8.

would you be talking about the one with like the custom 6 inch cowl hood? Its still out here i see it about once every two monthes it was on CL like a year and half ago for like 7500 and i saw it maybe 3 monthes ago on CL again for like 6 it is one sweet mark too bad dudes not a member?

Nice win congrats :headbang: :GotPics:

I know..right?

(michevious smack talk grin)

NOW, go "do it again"...and prove it wasn't a fluke!
(LMAO)

you jus got lucky!
HAHA

keep in mind, that before the next race.. you and I have to have a huge pissing contest..otherwise your karma wont be worth a crap.

Post the round by round details..
RT's.
MOV's
etc?

and...from your other post, I'm taking it that you "didn't hit the brakes" and won all those rounds at WOT?

how many rounds did you go?
Craig always said there were buttloads of cars out there.

was it 5 or 6 rounds?

Yep, didn't hit the brakes once, WOT all the way manually shifting. Same routine every time, quick burnout to clean up and heat the tires, stage shallow, 1-2 shift at 7000rpm, 2-3 shift at 6500rpm. The track was hooking so I went WOT right off idle, no feathering the throttle. All reaction times in the .0** range except one where I went a .1**. I can't remember how many rounds I went, I got one bye round though. The guy I raced in the final also got one bye round. And this isn't a fluke, I was runner up last year in sports street.

FLUKE!

(jus ribbin ya dood)

Post up some of the runs, give us some data to look at.

Again, good job.

My timeslips are in my car which is at the shop right now getting ready for Wed night drags. I'll post some data later tonight...

If you are interested, and you might have already seen it.
on LOD in the dragstrip section I posted a nifty timeslip database.

(michevious grin)
You couldn't win wednesday night if you wanted to..
you used up all your luck last weekend
(jus firing your karma up for the wed race)

Good luck

What time are the races?

Maybe we can get the LVC wednesday night chat crew to watch on infineons web cams.

You should get a peice of the blue "painters tape" and run it down the middle of your roof, so we can easily "spot" your car on the web cam.
Game?
lol
