I am defiantly looking for another Mark now. Going Gen II. I was outside inspecting my Mark and it has MAJOR rust damage. Rockers are fine, but I actually have rust below the moldings, bottoms of doors and a few other places. All fixable but with a torqued front frame I think its time this shell is retired.

I will probably pull the 04 engine, make it all pretty then drop it into the "new" one I get. Wanted to do this for a while now, but seeing the rust really makes me want to dump this 96 now.

I have a nice low mile cordovan CE shell for you if you're interested.

All I really need is a good shell. The "ultimate" plan is to get my VW back on the road then drop the rear member on the 96 and dissect and clean. The drop the k-member and do the same. Nice to finally have a heated garage!

But I think transporting a shell would cost much, might be easier just finding a decent Gen II with a blown trans or engine so as to get it cheap.

Farmington Hills, Michigan? If so I just did a Google map. Damn thing takes me over on the boat to Ludington - rather drive. Cant get a good estimate on trip time! lol Taking the boat is an option though...

I dunno. Not in the position to buy right now, moving my business and spending everything on build-out. But how much would you sell the shell for?

Check to see what it would cost to ship, you might be surprised.

I would want a 2 gen blk/blk LSC but a cordovan CE would be my next choice if it had the gray int.

Plus you know what your getting if you get it from m_maker

damn unity sorry to hear about your 96.

I think you'll like the second gen

Ya. I used to not be a fan of the Gen II but it grew on me.

I think it will be a killer Mark when I swap over my drivetrain. My 96 has been through A LOT.

If I dont get a Gen II I will be getting a 300M... ya, I know.....

Chrysler 300M?

Different. Actually, I DO kinda' like the looks of them. FWD though... :(

lower 300m trimmed models suck, only good one is the 300M Special, very nice...........out of all the chryslers the 300M Special was pretty good, never saw one come in, except the flooded one i had to rebuild, whole new interior/headlights/flush trans/engine.........lolol :D

I rented one to drive to DC for a buddies funeral at Arlington, it was disappointing-should have driven the Mark, but I didn't want to drive it in my state of mind at the time. Shudda got the Hemi.

Yeah, rust sucks. My red Mark took a beating this winter.

How much for your good rockers Unity?:D

300ms are rwd.... depending on the year you buy, the new style is rwd. The trans is about as reliable as the early mark viiis tho. I drove and srt8 and that was nice, the others were just kinda like whatever.

Rust sucks I hate it.
I have destroyed many Broncos because of the dam salt.
One was a 66...one was a 70.
I only buy rust free now...I am getting to old to fight the dam rust.
A Blk/BLK gen 2 has been for sale in denver for a long time.
