window weatherstriping

I haven't taken the glass out yet, but it turns out you can cut the visible section of the seal off and urethane around it and it doesn't look bad. Stays in all the way to 130mph so far. The seal is urethaned in, and the seal is absolutely stuck to the glass, it holds. The glass sits flush with the body and doesn't look bad. Just have to be careful not to gouge your body, cause that blade will slip with no warning. I used a carpet knife. I'll see about getting a picture up sometime soon.

to get the back glass out you need a windshield knife that isn't cheap..and will f up a lot of stuff if you have never used one. The window is urethanes in and it has to be cut out. the seal runs around the window on the top and bottom side thats why you cant replace it. if you are worried about the way it looks on the outside you can cut the seal down the middle(cut off the wrinkled part, leave the half thats on the window) and get a "filler seal" called black lace by people in the glass business. It is a universal seal that will push into the groove that is left from cutting the seal and go over the body and the window. its very hard to do corners with and usually has to be cut giving it a squared off look-which is why i told you it looks kinda goofy. You will just have to go to a glass place and order the seal that is the closest to what you need. They should have a sample board of a bunch of different types of aftermarket seals.
