6 months ago i bought my 97 lsc, from the second i left the previous owners house in connecticut all the way back to florida i knew there was something wrong with the cobra brake conversion. not long ago i found out what it was, the holes that were drilled in the rotors to make it fit the mark VIII hubs were not drilled on center so whenever i hit the brakes it felt like the car was gonna shake apart. well, i bought new rotors for it, drilled and slotted, new evolution ceramic pads and holy :q:q:q:q why did i wait 6 months!! not only is the car death smooth now when i hit the brakes but it stops so much harder, i was never impressed with the big brakes on it, i thought the stock brakes stopped better, thats not the case anymore my god! not only that but the new rotors are zinc plated and shiny they look so much better then the painted silver ones that were on it. i painted all the calipers too while i was in there with the duplicolor ceramic caliper blue paint, i sanded the paint off the word COBRA on the front calipers once they were dry. i gotta give mad props to my buddy matt for drilling the mark pattern dead ass nuts, they are perfectly true now and man i am happy!!
