Who's got the black out headlight covers, gtos?

Similar. We were talking about them yesterday and I mentioned remembering someone on here having a set of the GTO brand hard plastic covers for a gen 1 but couldnt remember who it was. I think it was someone that found some LSC lights.

Pretty sure it was one of the champagne color cars.

dude thats sick! where can i get those, that'd look sick when i eventually tint the tail lights a little.

They actually use to make a cover years back. Only seen one actual maek with them. But only for a gen two.

I can't do it. I just installed brand new housings. There is NO WAY I would paint those. It looks damn sexy, though.

I think there is a way around painting your housings.
1.Buy a clear plastic cover, seen here: http://www.racepages.com/products/?N=10831&Ntt=Lincoln+Headlight+Covers

2.Paint it with nightshade from your local auto parts store.

3.Peel and stick right over your perfect factory housing without any damage.

Does this sound like it will work? Maybe it will help those who want to do it, but don't want to mess $#!+ up.

i think you can also buy tinted vinyl and just stick it on. then peel it off to replace or if you need to drive at night and actually see some stuff.

I used clearcoat with a few drops of black! Worked great and its very easy to keep shiny just wax and
Buff when I wax the car! @ night you can't even tell the headlamps have this treatment! Personally I
Wouldn't use a new set of headlamps either! I do have a nice set of factory headlamps for when I get
