and anyone have the ZIEX-912 tire... every place i go its recommended but it doesn't seem like it would be good in the snow.. looks more summer.. or what tires do you have? THANKS!

bbs are great rim but i dont like either of them and stay away from falken tires not that great. if your looking for a great summer tire go with the conti DW its amazing

I had the Falken ZE-912's on my wife's Scion tC for ~30,000 miles.

Decent tire, low road noise, but terrible in the snow.

I agree with OneFreshLS... The Continental ExtremeContact DW, or DWS if you prefer an all season that handles snow well, is a fantastic tire.

The Continental ExtremeContact DW, or DWS if you prefer an all season that handles snow well, is a fantastic tire.

I have the DWS and they have been great to me so far. Got them right before winter last year and we got several large snowfalls (overnight totals of 8, 10, and 18" IIRC). Obviously I could not drive through the worst of it but they did very well while I was out in it.
