Where can I buy the low beam HID bulb?

Here is a pic of the cheap eBay HID kit with an adapter ring made of AL... just buy the kit off eBay and make your own ring....

Ring and Bulb In.jpg

Mafioso did.... that is where I got mine... but he disapeared...

04HSOD made them too but he is gone now too...

There is a kit you can buy on eBay, but it is overpriced IMO... Hell I'll make you some rings out of plast or sheet metal if you really need them that bad.

Oh I dont need them right now but I just assumed when a light burned out I could drive on down to Autozone and buy one. Now that I know I cant I would like to buy a kit to be ready for when they do burn out. Id like to have the ring though as well. Kinda looks like a large cupped washer with three holes drilled in it. I have never even looked at mine so not sure how they look.

*runs outside to dismantle headlight*

Big square based bulb with a plastic part with the little bubble leveler deal... no pic sorry....

Yeah, I just checked it out. I would like to have a set like yours though. I see the "module" is nice and bauried behind the bumper. Looks like the bumper has to come off to get to them.
So that link I posted is the right kit to order though?
I know 4300 is the color temp but what bulb is the right style?

im in that same boat ill buy mine today i just wannt know what kind of bulb and if kk is serious about making the adapters tooo

also, the problem is the previous owner didnt have those rings and he put epoxy or some super hard paste around which is whats holding the regular bulb, the whole thing looks like crap, im pretty sure as this point I need a new headlight assembly. Does anyone have pics of where the blalast sits and goes into

whos ever selling there bulbs since they are buying te kit, I want the bulb and also the balast.

The ballast is just under the passenger side of the grill behind the bumper.

after i recieve my kit im willing to sell the ballast(2) and the working bulb ill keep u posted when i recieve my kit ok

I jujst left the stock ballast in my car because I'm too lazy to remove the bumper....

You CANNOT buy a new bulb that will bolt in like the OEM one...

If you buy a universal cheap HID kit it can be any style 9500 or whatever the normal halogen high beam is... that is why you need the ring.

kk that what were talking about all over the board was if we by the cheap HID kit what material should i use to make the rings and what can i use for the template?

ok, I think I figured out the mixup, Do our cars only have (1) balast thats located in the passanger side bumper by the grille that controls both headlights? If so, then I do have the balast, I figure that each headlight had its own balast, but the drivers xexon works its the pass. side that doesnt have the xenon but still has the plug. Can someone confirm?

are those (2) balasts really bolted together, so technically, you really cant see them seperate, another words, im trying to figure out if other balast was taken out, but i dont think it was actually

yes they do go bad, easiest way to check if its a ballast or bulb, is take the bulb that isnt working, and plug it into the one you know works, then if it still doesnt light, the bulb is bad, if it does light, the ballast is bad. i have ballasts and a working bulb. hint hint!!
