A used one is 250-400 so I don't see a new one being worth 1500 more

Thats the charger, intake AND aftercooler.

You could probably take it for 1500, he's had it for sale for a month and no real offers.
I looked at that one too but decided on a centri.

On a serious note, the superchargers are worth $400ish in newish condition and the intercooler/plenum setup is worth another $800 in newish condition. Figure another $300 for injectors and $100 for the throttle body and you are at $1600. Thats where I would hit him at.

Being new parts they have a little more value.
