well if the airbag is what we are supposed to look at its normal, its a 97 air bag!

Actually some of you were right. Its a 98 LSC with a gen 1 airbag.

My 97 LSC has that same airbag and it has never been deployed

I guess i never thought, it being listed as a 98 could be a typo.

thats not a gen 1 specific air bag, not all gen 2's had the v split air bag with the hard emblem on it, that same bag was used in 97's and 98's also, i can show you, i have air bags in my garage that style with both F-7 and F-8 part numbers. come on now, dont you know by now that ford mixed and matches all kinds of crap on their cars.
