Another thing. What are you going to use for wax/sealant?


im doing a little bit of research still. im not sure which one would really bring out the color
any suggestions on a good starting point... got pretty pumped up yesterday and washed the car before leaving to work (i'll post pics when i get out)bought Maguires gold wash autozone. their selection is vert limited now that I've discovered this part of the car wo

I'll tell you that sealants brighten the paint, while a carnauba gives it a deeper glow. To me, a nuba darkens the paint a little. Sealant will last longer than a nuba. I will layer the protection most of the time. I start with a sealant, then apply a coat of wax after about 24-48 hours.

One of the waxes that to me is the only one that rivals the $2000 Zymol Vintage is Rubbish Boy's original Edition. I have it, love the look, but it's a PITA to use.
 
are you using the "insert image" icon and copying the image URL from the image sharing site (i.e.photobucket)?

Get a photobucket account or another image hosting account, its free. Upload them on there, then each picture will have its own link to copy and paste. When you paste the link here, the picture will show up.

im thinking im going to buy small quantities of different products and see which one i like best then move on from there, i definitely see what pektel meant about it adding up real quick... thanks for all the advice, appreciated :)
