*VIDEO* Top Speed, 01 v6 5 Speed

How are you guys getting 120+? xcal3 can get rid of governor? I'm not familiar with tuning and such so forgive me lol.
 
My valentine1 has made me extremely more confident in my willingness to stretch out the LS's legs.


It is truly amazing how much a device like that changes your driving habits. On the freeway anyways...
 
In Dallas reaching those speeds will have you quickly running into somebody or getting chased by a cop. The police are just fundraisers here. They should get off the street and just sell cookies like the girl scouts.
 
Top I got was 134ish,but I got pulled over doing 102 in55.I no longer do 10 over or what the flow of traffic is going...be careful

Push the long, skinny pedal (also known as the loud pedal) to the right of the brake pedal. Make sure you push it all the way to the floor. You will soon see 100+, just keep it on the floor.
 
Hmm, odd, I swear my car wouldn't budge past 114 with the pedal to the floor. Guess I will have to go out and try it again sometime soon lol.
 
i was so pissed when i found out it was so low, because it was still pulling so damn hard, i dont even think it left 4th gear!

That's odd. I have far more trouble with IA cops than I'm having with Dallas cops.
 
I don't drive fast on the highway anymore, getting radared at 117mph stopped that. I was going closer to 135 before I let off, this was in my 03' v6 eclipse 5 speed spyder I had. Happened 2 days after I bought it. I just need to decide how much money I want to put into this car, if I should buy a wideband o2 setup and pro racer package for $350 or just drop $150 on boxed tunes. I'm still not decided.

pushed it that far myself...but thought i best to slow down as on comming traffic appeared over the hill a couple miles out.
