4.10 Gears are found in F-150, Ranger, and Explorers. Of course, it doesn't matter what spline it is if you are only going to use the gears (ring & pinion), but it does have be an 8.8". Be careful not to get a 7.5" rear gear if you find a Ranger, because they are common.
Now, if you are going to get a trak-loc unit from a bone yard, you need to make sure they use the 28 spine, not the 31. Unfortunately, Explorers are 31 spline even though they are very common. Mustangs & Thunderbirds are your best bets, but if you want IRS cut gears (preferred, but NOT required), 1989- Thunderbirds (my TL unit came from a 1987 5.0L Thunderbird which didn't have the IRS bevel, but it was pretty easy to modify).
