That V10 does sound sweet though. I drove an e350 with V10, wasn't much faster than the 5.4 imo.

Man at the prices you can get a Mark for I sure wouldn't screw around trying to fit a V-10 or any other techno engine in a shell. If you live in a place w/o emmisions and it has a clean title drop a 335 series big block/C-6 combo in, back 1/2 it and go have a blast at the cruise nights and drag strip. Easy-Peasy. You can make 500 horse + out of a 460 easy with off the shelf parts and will still be very streetable. Shoot the Edelbrock Performer RPM heads, cam and intake will get you 550+ on stock 9:1 short block 460 and it's a relatively easy fit in the huge Mark engine bay. Just think how cool it would be to hit the local cruise night with tubbed mark with dual quads on a tunnel ram sticking through the hood? It's a safe bet you would be the only one there with one.

I also have been thinking about a v10 swap, Did you get anywhere with yours? If so please tell me all about it. I would love to hear the 6.8 liters of symphonic fury coming from the engine bay of my mark.
Why'd they keep the truck style intake on that? Dumb, it would make way more power with an ls6 intake and cam at the least..
it would sure look a lot better
I found this thread about it

why not just twin turbo regular mark viii? v10 seems overkill and heavy!!!!!!
its in a truck for a reason.
