It looks like they took the grille off of the Lincoln MKR, and combined it with the headlights of the Ford Mondeo. And, it looks like they kept the suede look in the interior of the concept?!

The MKS concept had a 114-inch wheelbase, and a 4.4-liter 315- horsepower V8, and production versions were pegged to have the Yamaha derived 4.8-liter V8, currently found in the Volvo XC90. That engine program has reportedly been scrapped, however, due to cost concerns, possibly leaving this Lincoln flagship to soldier on with only a V6 option.

That thing is not only Hideous, it's going to be FWD and It's not even going to get a V8.
Count me out.

Ford's getting as stupid with Lincoln and Mercury as GM did with Oldsmobile.

I mean I used to think the Caddy CTS was hideous, but I did consider buying one for V8 RWD and manual six speed.

Lincoln better wake up soon or they will loose us all.

ok, the windows and upper half of the car looks good IMO looks like the cockpit sits towards the rear of the car (like the LS). but those door panels are HUGE. and what exactly is going on around the rear wheel well? look just under the rear door handle, there is some random tiny little panel inbetween the wheel well and the rear door. hhaha if lincoln could only wake up and smell the coffee and put a V8+ with rear wheel drive then they would be on their ones and twos.

The concept at the Detroit International Auto Show 2006:

They said in the article ther will be minimal changes to the extreior styling of the vehicle, so this should be pretty close to how itll come out.

I think it looks pretty slick.
Need to lose the fender vents though. Fender vents = not Lincoln.
