Turbo lag really really really sucks
if your pAnis works fine, why would you need a dild0?.
Just say NO to compound boost set ups.

do not turbo a blower, do not supercharge a turbo.

friend,Good thing for you, you live in the great city of Houston Texas.
Home of Gene Deputy of TexasTurbo Fame (<-Google'm)
Mike Gilbert and I visited Gene (long closed) shop back in 02-03ish?
Gene has a 96 LSC(with hids) with a twin turbo.
We spoke about putting a turbo on a street mark 8 and he said without even pausing, DONT DO IT.
now this is the guy that made a living out of putting Turbo's on all kinds of cars in the mid 80's and up until the mid 90's ish.
He said there is too much crap under the hood that would have to be either replace, relocation or eliminated all together.
Then he walked over to either mikes or my car and said.. "open the hood".
When we opened the hood Gene said.. "EVERYTHING, that is plastic"..
the underhood heat associated with a turbo will kill EVERYTHING...
Gene said either put a vortech or a procharger on it period...
We talked to Gene this past Novemeber out at Houston Raceway Park.
he made a couple of exibition runs in the Lincoln and apologized for not running 200MPH.
Gene is a great guy, and like I said.. he's here in Houston.
So... get out "FAT STACKS" which is what gene said it'd take for someone to fab/do it themselves.
arePretty much the whole story on this page.
read the article, it tells alot about the guy.
"dont just skip down to the lincoln"...lol

aNot on a properly sized turbo for the intended application.
Turbo lag is only an issue when you run a big turbo, or a "too big" turbo I should say.
on my SVO after we were done with the car on a free neutral rev it'd make 3lbs of boost. That car with it's short intake tract and an exhaust housing swap had nothing that could even be considered "lag".
a guy in a small block nova after getting whacked by the svo pulled up along side and shook his fist, and yelled "Yer Sprayin"!!!....
all I could say was "thanks dood!"
he didn't realize I only had 4 spark plug wires either.. poor guy.
post(takes another drink of coffee)
Who's next?
lolz
whore.(sets em up)

Haw a light weight!!!!
Ken Duttweiler owned him!
A twin turbo in a mark viii, not without some SERIOUS modification to the engine bay. The mustang has its K-member setting further back in the frame than the Lincoln. There is a good 6-8 inches between the front of the engine and the back of the radiator fan assy. plus the mustang engine bay is about 1.5" wider on each side. And forget about using the stock or aftermarket k member it would need to be custom.
Saying that I think it can be done, but not with an 'off the shelf' system. You'd need all custom exhaust
Hurley Blakeney's twin turbo 1995 Thunderbird door slammer run super comp.
They made the pro stock boys look like small fry's..
SO, I read up on turbos today, and understand a little better. But for a street car I still don't see the effort, unless you're just trying to be an individual, and don't mind tweaking with things all the time. I sure wouldn't want to drive a tt mark from cali to new york.
And, hotrod 98, aren't you the one doing a turbo?!? :slap:
Or, if you do it right, you won't have to tweak anything once the setup is dialed in, and you can drive as far as you want. There are PLENTY of factory turbo cars that do just fine. All you have to do is not suck, or have people not suck for you, and driveability is fine.
The turbo guys are retarded!!
I started creating an arguement so that maybe I would get enlightened by something unknown, ..and I've read alot, and I'm still where I started.
