Uhm, I dont get it, twins r mean and when u pop ur hood ppl get scared ! But unless u have or plan to have forged internals, u wont be able to run much boost. So a single turbo setup will add less weight and way less heat under the hood. U just need the right turbine.
How much your TT setup will cost u more or less?
Hope to see this monster out soon !
 
His updates are made in the LS High Performance section, I don't think its gone too much past what was already said.
 
Really ? That sucks man. Silver do u know where can I buy the tuning thing for a 00 v6? I think its called scal3 or something.

I'm not positive on this but I'm not sure they even work with the V6. However, SCT makes several tuners that I know work with the V8. There's the XCals and the Livewire, which I personally have. I also believe their newest touch screen tuner will work as well. The site is sctflash.com
 
I would check on the sctflash site, if you can't verify that it works with the V6 just give them a call and talk to someone. I would not buy the unit from them though... Find a dealer / performance shop. Usually you can get a free custom tune with it if you buy from one of them, vs the basic tune that comes with the unit. If it turns out you can use the Xcal on your V6 then maybe even give Torrie a call or email.

How much improvement did you get from a tune LS4ME? Noticeable power gain or is it mainly tranny improvement?

It was noticeable. At least from the butt dyno. We never got too involved with the tuning as I gave the car to my daughter.
 
Sully doesn't come around here much anymore. I talk to him every so often. I think his LS is kind of at a stand still right now. He's got other projects. We were trying to find a shop to machine gears for quite some time, but kept hitting dead ends.
