i've never found one in a junk yard, the only lincolns i could find were a 90's town car limo and a mark viii

I got my rear surround and chrome grille painted.I dont know how they did it but it's holding up great so far.

put a ad on criagslist that your looking for a LS that is about to be parted out or a parts car

I read that members were having issues doing that. If I am wrong, please tell me. I would rather paint them then swap out both bumpers.

I've had the painted chrome strip on my rear bumper for around 2 years with no issues yet. Hell my car even got a 10 MPH "love tap" from someone at a stoplight and it didn't chip off. It's all about the prep really. The chrome was pretty much sanded off before paint. Also, I was told, it was painted with Dupont plastic paint that has a 1 year warranty.

it really is all about the prep. if i wee to do i would sand the crome all the way down the work my way through the grits until it was smooth then etch prime, prime and paint and clear, i dont see why it would be any different from all the other plastic thats painted on the car.

Yes. Eibach Springs Pro-kit. I got a 1.75" drop out of them.

BTW Razzi suggest that you cut out and remove the lower grille for the front facia install. I just cut niches into the grille to slide the front facia into. That way, I got to keep the lower grille.
