How's it going everyone! I've been a member here for little while, but this is my first post. A little bit about me-

Im 20yrs old, I live in Dayton, OH. I am a Service Tech, at Therapy Support Inc. I bought my 1995 Mark VIII Charcoal Gray in the summer of 09', for $1100, it had 126k on the clock. It was owned by one family (Mother bought it new, passd it down to her son when she passed). The only thing wrong with it was the air shocks were slammed. Since then I've fixed that, with the conversion, replaced the crankshaft position sensor, and about 140 miles ago I had the trans rebuilt with a 2yr 24k mi warranty. I love my car and also its my first, lol...

Enough about me, the reason for this post is while on facebook, lol. I saw a 1998 Black LSC being advertised for $6,994. If you guys can take a look at it for me and tell me what you think I'd greatly appreciate it......

Very clean but that price is a bit steep. It's because a dealer has it for one and they have to make their $$$

The ride height sensors on the front are set way too high. Then I look at the headlights and see one foggy and one clear one. The mixture of those three things tells me it's been wrecked in the front or one of the housings was replaced with a new one and they decided to raise the front of the car up for no reason.

I'm in the 5K or under range on that one, not 7K at all.

keep your car then spend the 5k to make it right(mod exhaust, shift kit with 3200 stall conv, upgrade to 4.10 gears, chip etc. and of course do all the necessary such as making sure the suspension is up for the mods.) In the end you will be much happier.

I appreciate all the input, and thanks for the welcome UltimateSVT. Yea I was thinking the price was high too, but I wanted to hear it from someone else.
Now I've read alot of posts on here, and everyone on here is incredible and knows a very lot on cars, so I want to warn you guys in advance that this is my first car. So, I probably don't even know half of what you do about cars. But thats why im here on the site, because im eager to learn. That being said.... Whats a decent priced kit to use to have the true dual exhaust

there is no kit however you will need to by a x-pipe then have the shop custom fit everything. I bought mine from Lincolm Motorport but since you live in Ohio I would check out Supercoupe Performance. He should be able to hook you up. When I did mine it cost me approximatley $900 to get done with material and labor. Made a world of difference. I would then get the gears done on your car. I have a locker I can sell you to make it posi traction.

Or you can visit your local junk yards over & over & over until a nice LSC is junked in there. BANG, there's your DUAL EXHAUST for a fraction of the price!

There used to be a local guy here in Miami that would part them out. I got my exhaust with FLowmasters for $120.00... I couldn't beat it! It cost me $80.00 to install
