alex you have a truck, borrow a trailer from someone, there has to be someone down there with a trailer. if you dont want to fix it, tell me how much you want for it, maybe i could fix it for my wife, it looks cooler than hers! or i'll fix the few things wrong with my 93 and trade ya!

Wow jump on that deal. Jamies 93 is georgous. Seen it a few times, his wife drove it to the fla meet in tampa, needed swept out lol. Other than that if he fixes the little issue the 93 has and trades you.......no brainer.

Jamie's wifes car is probably one of the nicest 93's around. Aint gonna beat that deal!! I just cannot understand why she doesn't like it. I would drive it with pride!!

Alright guys, once again I was away from LVC for about a week... This goes to show that it's not just the money but the time that I'm lacking. If I had time to spare I bet I'd have it fixed by now!
No I have not! I have a feeling the problem is a short. As of the last week or so my battery is NOT lasting more than 2 days. I start the car with the booster, drive it for about 2 miles until the car reaches regular temperature then bring it back home before it starts overheating. I try starting the car 2 days later & the battery is DEAD!
Have I mentioned I have to rebuild the entire front end suspension? I wouldn't trust the car on such a long drive, I'm afraid something will pop out of somewhere at 65mph & create a bigger problem.
Here's the thing, same thing I told 02LS8Lincoln(Marvin)... I think the Lincoln LS is very nice but Lincoln could've done so much more with the back end or the interior on that car. The back end looks that of a Nissan, Mitsubishi, Honda... not a Lincoln, not like the newer Lincolns. Those tail lamps are destinguishable as Lincoln tail lamps. They don't look generic like everything else that came out of the assembly line back in 2003-2005. The center dash on that car turns me off as well. Looks very generic too, not something that only Lincoln has (Please don't take offense to my opinions). I think the front end of the car looks SICK! I love it but to purchase a car you have to love the ENTIRE car. I will never buy an LS.
Trust me, if I did know someone with a damn trailer I'd haul it ASAP!!! Jamie, I'm thinking of leaving the car alone until I have the money! I have my family convinced that as long as the car is in it's current state I can't sell it for more than $500.00 so they all agree with me to just leave it there. I may have to wait until February 2011 after I get married to decide what I'm going to do.
Remember, it's not just the fan's electrical issue, its the front end suspension rebuild, the motor mounts, the x-pipe I bought & haven't installed, the warped rotors, the plugs+wires, the driver side door that's hanging lower than it should, the driver side door handle that I need to replace, the weather seal on the rear window & the passenger side window that doesn't go up or down... Did I mention my wheels need to be sand blasted & painted? lol... Yeah, my car is quite a distance from being back up to par. Let's see what I end up doing! I will always keep my friends on LVC posted!

Sounds like alot of the stuff I just did this year, I didn't have the nonsence about painting rims tho...cars run fine with ugly wheels..I just happened to get a great deal on my 10 spokes, hang in there dude, one problem at a time until all are gone..it's worth it in the end, having a runnin car that's paid for is so much better than car notes
besides, ALL cars break down, every single car on the road, i'm even seeing the new 2010 Ford F150s in my shop for brakes now..the ticket for the one I fixed Monday was almost $2000...on a brand new truck!! Figure that one out

why wouldn't a 2010 needing brakes go back the the stealership for warranty repair?

I'm a newbie, with the usual problems that our current life can present, but the people, character and generosity of LVC is without peer. I will be honored to count myself a member. This will be the first and only time I will allow sentiment to creep into my posts. It made my day.
