For Jolinc and whoever else wants to see the visibility with a front windshield tinted. There isn't much difference in visibility compared to no tint, the tint is 50%. For those who say it's like driving with sunglasses on, it's really not.

Yea that is not bad at all.. Totally worth it, the only time a police officer would probably ticket you for it, is if you did something in the first place and he is angry enough to try and get you for everything possible. In which case he will probably be focused on the side windows rather than the windshield.

Get yourself a new camera, Alax?

Yeah, but then again people get away with more dangerous things.

Today on my way home I saw an elderly woman driving and it looked like it was a 5 year old driving. Her head was at level of the steering wheel, I dont know how she could see over it. She was driving a new Camry, the entry level one that doesn't have adjustable seats to make it higher.

Yeah I got a new camera, is it noticeable?

I really wanted a dslr, but I didn't get it last minute. Instead I saved myself a few hundred bucks and just got a nikon p100, for now. I'm going to get a dslr soon though, for sure.

Nice, you should ship it to me first so I can inspect it, make sure it's in working order

looks great man..once i fix my windshield i want to tint mine..the 50% is perfect..tint guy told me no less than 40 with 5% all around

Is there a seam when tinting an area that big? I know when I had my Caddy done they did the seam on the rear window on one of the rear defroster lines so you couldn't see it.

Not unless there's something special about the rear window on a caddy. Never seen them have to do a seam.

You mean a seem where they do two small pieces of tint because one isn't big enough? If so, then no, they have a big roll use for rear windows that they also use for the front

Ah, guess my place didn't have a big a$$ roll...

nice I just did mine with the same percentage, I did limo on the sides and its way too dark, I kind of regret it now but the windshield is definately good at 50% not very noticable but effective. Looks good

I have limo in the rears, 20% in the driver and passenger windows, and 50% on the windshield

Same setup minus the strip. One sheet of 50% on the entire windshield with 20% on all other windows.

Thanks for the pics Alax

Correct, you have to make someone REALLY angry here to get a tint ticket.

My rear window is like that in the LS.

I can see by where you were parked that you must have gone to Taco's Mexico for lunch.

Close but no. It's next to it, but I went to get my hair cut.
