This would clean up nicely

Oh, heck ya! That car looks to be in very good shape and low miles. I'd even be tempted by that and I'm a Gen II gal. Go for it, man!!!! :D

I almost bought the car the first time it was listed but this guy bought it. It was originally in the burbs, probably with the original owner. I think this guy got scared when told about "front suspension issues". I am guessing something simple is either causing a racket or vibration up front.

cant be too many in that color combo either

I hate that color but for some reason, I like it in that car. I'd be all over it right now if it was down here. I paid $1500 for my first black on black. Being in DC, rust would concern me if I was going to fly from here to there and drive it home. I would throw some Octi's on it, paint it myself, remove the antenna off the back window and put the LSC housings in that I have boxed up and of course fix the front end trouble.

ditto!

We are not exactly in the rust belt here.

Well, not saying you are but I'm sure DC does see snow, much more than we do down here in the South Eastern states. We also don't know that the car has always been in the DC area. It could have been owned by several people up north and driven on salty roads and then again, with it's mileage, it may have been taken care of and not driven much in the snow. There just aren't many "Mark enthused" owners that care to store them during the winter like most do on here.

I don't even drive mine in the rain and snow is something I rarely ever see. Our whole city shuts down when we have 2 inches and on our over passes, they use sand here and no salt. Either way, the car is worth $1500 to me if the underside isn't eat up with rust. I'm just not sure if I could handle the brightness inside. I don't recall seeing a Gen 1 with that color combo. For that price, I could handle it though.

I like it. My favorite exterior color and one of my favorite interior colors in an unusual combo. I imagine it would be hell to keep clean, inside and out, if you lived in a rural area like I do.

It has not snowed here in almost 2 years.

He has now dropped the price to $1300.

Depending on how work goes, I may have to call about it on Saturday.

I don't know but dropping price that fast means something must be wrong. Owner's desperate! Carl looks good though.

Says in the ad that it needs suspension work. It was originally for sale in NOVA, he bought it but I think the suspension being worn scares him.
