all this talk about custom and another person posted about scoops or hoods for gen 2 then, in passing, it hit me" like a 2 ton heavy thing", what about this, im really thinking about it already getting the 03 heads and the 99-01 cobra and mach 1 manifold are the same ,and the marauder manifold is right behind, but throttle bodies are all in the same place.

One thing to consider is the TB on a marauder intake is on the drivers side. The air box is where the battery is on our cars.

i guess i had it wrong the way they were facing, unless the marauder is opposite. ill have to look at a mach i engine bay and figure it out.

i dont know and will obviously have to fab some kind of airbox but its definitely doable and will be absolutely awesome the more i think of it the more me want to do!!

i'll be in touch about manifold do you have all the hardware? i found two that have throttlebody and rails and injectors. money for me is real tight and this will be like a year long project but im definitely going '03 headed, cobra/mach 1 manifolded, with scoop and cammed should be nasty with bumper and will solve hood issue as i was going to get a cobra hood made or fitted to mine which would have been much more, but ive got it its just a shame that i was beaten to the angel eyes because of this motor issue but i guess it all happens for a reason.

It is just the upper and lower manifolds, I was going to go c-head NA but decided to go another route. The stock intake tube would be very close if not a perfect fit, the TB is in pretty much the same location.

what route did you take? i want to go black or black chrome i also want 18x 10 rear i can get in fr 500 style but spedstar 18 x 9 unless i hub out

i justv searched 03 marauder pics and that came up, but they all have same intake, the mach 1 is the one that counts. its gonna take a while but the $$#'s are only more expensive in obtainment. when i get the other motor ill already have the parts, the other way i could get a mach 1 motor its a little more expensive but not much, or find a set of 03,04 4v heads and the intake and scoop all of which are as a total less than a grand but the finished product will be absolutely incredable. i just wish i had a job to make some $$ instead of relying on disability im looking, but body is not ready for everyday work yet.
