Not a lot of love for our PT's

Not my first choice either but its growing on me. The 93's make great hot rods but when you want to go out on a date on Friday night you can't beat a 97-98 LSC
Did a tan car run over your family pet when you were a child? So much hate.
Pt isn't my favorite color either but that's a very clean lookin' car.
I don't understand the hate but... that's why he doesn't own one & I DO!
Here's a quick story to bring you guys up to speed:
As for my love towards the prairie tan car? I used to HATE "GOLD" color'd cars. Fvck calling it prairie tan, I called any car that was painted remotely close to this color, "
GOLD". IMO, this color was meant for senior citizens. When I went to purchase this car this was NOT the car I was looking for. My father & I went to see a 42,000 mile pearl white beauty. Turns out it was far from one. It was a true RUST BUCKET. We were 4 hours from home so we made the best of it & we went to see another Mark. A 1997 "gold" Mark VIII w/only 63,390 miles. Yes, attractive mileage but I HATED the color.
Back then my father owned the cordovan CE & I wanted to keep that car but he refused to let me have it simply because Carfax reported it had small accident damage so the driver's side fender was replaced by the previous owner.
He was ready to drive back to Miami if we don't buy the prairie tan car which was/is in MINT condition. The car smelled like new! Once we set on a price & worked a deal I drove the car about 6 miles to the nearest bank. I was VERY impressed. It drove way smoother than the 170,000 mile cordovan Mark, smoother than my black '93 I had at home & even smoother than my father's CE.
Still when we got to Miami I pleaded with my father; "If you don't like the CE, please keep the prairie tan & I keep the CE!" No budging, the CE was sold 3 weeks later to a man in New York. A transport co came & picked up the car.
I looked at the prairie tan & drove it a few times at night & the car started growing on me.
My prairie tan cost us $3,500 & it's in mint shape. It's a clean "fancy looking" 2dr luxury coupe that turns as many heads as my '93 if not more.
See my '93 turns heads from every retarded 16 - 20 year old dumb@ss w/an import or a Mustang that wants to race while my prairie tan is looked at by a more general population. Everyone is shocked to the car in it's current state & when I open the door they are shocked. Prairie tan has my heart over my '93 any day. As much as I LOVE my '93. It's NOT original. It's all custom. I like OEM mint.
