Suspension list?

Pretty sure all 3.08 cars were 130, all 3.27s were 124ish (same as H and U rated tires, respectively.) Which can, of course, look a few MPH off on an actual speedo.
3.08 was limited to 140 and 3.27 was limited to 127. 93's had no limiter. The reason for the limiter was due to drive shaft speed and vibration, thus why base model cars top speed was higher.

Then maybe my 94 Z4HO (130,) friends 96 base (130,) friends 97 LSC RKK3? (124,) and my 93 W3Z2 (130) are special. :)

I stand by my statement in both the limiters speed and the fact that I have no idea what first gens were. My friend with a 93 has claimed several 140+ runs, I have GPS verified 127 in both the 97 and 98 LSCs that are mine and my exes 97 base has seen 140 with me behind the wheel.

If you are going off the indicated speedo numbers then yes, you may just be wrong. The Marks speedo will be optomistic and usually is. When my cars speedo hits 140 the GPS says 137. But at 100 they are exact. Who knows.

Man looking it up I am finding all kinds of answerers. For LSC I have seen: 124, 125, 127 and 148 which we all know is BS. Since my cars hit 127 and the speedo was close to that I figured that was it but now I wonder if the speedo itself indicated closer to 124 thus making the car believe it was 124ish. I know in my exes 97 it cut out right as the speedo hit 140.... hmmm, gonna have to do some research.

My two are also GPS verified, both at exactly 130, but my friends aren't. Meh, tire diameter variations and stuff make 3mph kind of a moot point anyway.
