Super rare LSE

I wonder how they got a 5.4 under there without modifying the hood? :shifty:

Hope they left room for a KB or Whipple to fit under there, why stop with just a bigger v8. True winnah/sleeper lol

I ran into a guy at Oreillys with a 2001 Ls and he was telling me he had a 6.5L in his LS. I called BS and told him to open the hood, there sat a regular 3.9L. On the engine cover someone had written 6.5 on it with a yellow tire crayon. I said 'dude that means it takes 6.5qts of oil'. He said 'oh ya thats what I meant'. He then told me how he was going to put a supercharger on it and 22's. What a joke. A supercharged LS with 22's...just what the world needs...lol

should of slapped him and said no!

24v huh, so i guess 2 cylinders have no valves then?

The 5.4 is a 3V engine.

I went the other way. Briggs and Straton 2hp lawn mower engine in mine. Yes yes I have to deal with a choke but at 86 MPG who really cares?

I'd love to see my F150 5.4 in my LS! Plus I already have a tuner for the F150, so I'd be set!

Thanks for the idea!! hahaha

Ah yeah I have a Techumseh 5 hp in mine for the city drive and then once im on the highway the jet engine takes over and I agree the choke and pull string is a pain in the winter but you do what you have to do....:D:D:D

He probably has all three of them in there. The worlds first front, mid, and rear engine vehicle.
