That carbon fiber overlay doesn't hold up because of the expanding and contracting of the metal, others have tried it.

I love the suicide doors but I hate the shaved door handles/mouldings. They should have moved the rear door handle to the front of the door and blended it with the front door handle. Sort of like the Rolls Royce phantom

+1........... I am SO very tempted to go to suicide doors(Phantom style) when I get mine painted. Tempted enough that someone is going to have to talk me out of it when it comes time otherwise it is a done deal.

I don't know him. I tried to talk to him about his LS. He was very negative. Didn't want to share any info. I asked about the hinges. Where he got them? He ignored the question and quoted me the price. $1600. I did my own research and found them for $445 each. Read what you want into that.:shifty:

His original price was $25,000 for the car. Its been for sale for a few years now. He is slowly dropping the price.

It is a very sexy car. I have to agree about the door handles and molding. With everything shaved. The side view looks blank. No character, curves, bodyline. When I do mine, I plan to relocate the door handles and leave the molding. Want to make it look factory. Like it rolled out of the plant that way. With the bad year I had at work. The custom paint & bodywork will have to wait another year. If all goes well, next winter.
