You have to read into this correctly. It never states 14.00 it says 14 which could also mean 14.99 which is a 14 just NOT a 14.00. Yes/no?

No, not all but I think it's all about the driver for the most part but I don't see any stock 98 getting 14's at all. Not saying none can or have but they are far and few between.

Yes, they're out there but no flat out 14.00. They will be high 14's

Yea the article doesn't say where in the 14's, but lsc came witth 3.27 instead of 3.08 that can make a little difference, id say its possible

Marked8 did a 14.6.. in my 94 that I sold to him ... slip used to be posted here back in 2005. Car was all stock.

Yup, it is possible to hit 14s in a bone stock mark, i did it in my 97 lsc before any mods except kumho tires on the 16" chromies.

The timeslip is on lod...and stock gen 1s are faster .

I guess I should have phrased it differently. If a Gen 2 can do 14's, bone stock, it would have to be an LSC and as for Gen 1's, they can just do it. LSC or not. My 95 non LSC can do it with 3.08 gears. The 94 I had could do it.

I don't know. Find us a timeslip. Fat chance unless it had about 500# of weight reduction or more.
