I was test driving the MKS and i noticed when i went to SST mode the car now pushes forward for downshift and then need to downward for upshift. on our LS's to me seems percfect. up means upshift and down means downshift. why is lincoln changing this and also according to motortrend the new 2010 MKZ also has this configuration according to lincoln:
"Further, the MKZ gets a SelectShift Aisin six-speed auto, which not only offers a manual mode (a first for the MKZ) but also lays it out correctly-forward for downshifts, backward for upshifts."
is it me or do you guys find this retarted. im just venting cuz when test driving i could not get out of 1st gear cuz i kept pressing FOWARD and i had to put it back on D5 then i looked down and said " you ID10T"
THIS IS LIKE RE-INVENTING THE WHEEL.
