I see something that looks like it could be a red Mark VIII trunk, on the right hand side, a few cars up.

Here in these pics there actually IS a second gen mark 8...lol

This was from last weekend, when we took my son Corey to his first trip to the dragstrip (houston raceway park)

Wow hes gettin big.
I can see him in a JR in a few short years.

man if his growth doesnt slow down, there will be NOTHING "JR" about the dragster he gets.....lol

Draggin him out of the baby seat in the center of the rear seat in the mark is getting to be "quite a task".. I've been considering lifting him out the sunroof instead of the danged door.

It wont be long he will be gettin himself out.
Looks like he won't stay still for longer then 10 seconds.

Thats why I would put the car seat in either side....but never in the center. I would just make sure that it was strapped down nice and tight.

really?

Have you seen any "side impact" Mark 8's in the junkyards?

I personally wouldn't be STRAPPING my child into a known crumple zone.

we put him in the center for his own safety.
I've seen several/many mark 8's that are crashed, 99% of them had NO damage in the center of the rear seat.

Every side impacted mark 8 i saw had damage in the rear seat area right where the baby seat would go.

I'm fairly certain that Corey in the center of the rear seat is far more protected than any other occupant seating location in the car.
He'd probably survive a crash that I didn't

that aint no doubt.. he's very smart and very active.

his favorite word is "car".. imagine that.

he see's them on billboards and says "CAR"!

he passes hamburger billboards and goes.. "MMmmMmmmm"

he's a riot.

Okay okay.... i figured it out! Its a red gen 2 aaall the way to the top left.... you seea bit of the headlight bumper and rim....DID I WIN!!?

True, I have one in the back yard to prove what could happen to a kid in a car seat on one side. If one had been with my dad when he wrecked his, the kid would have at least suffered a broken neck, legs, ribs and possibly death.

like i said there was not much of the car showing I should have parked farther out and got a better spot on the main road but it is there
